Abby:Day 3

Another late night writing this.

We woke up and headed to a breakfast surronded by dinosaurs, or their bones at least. We then headed to the state Capitol and the sights in Denver. The Capitol was breathtaking but also a little bit of difference in elevation, so I got a little winded climing to the top. Once we finished our tour we took a picture of and with the mile high marker on the Capitol building steps.

We stopped by Cathedral Basilica of Immaculate Conception to peek in and look around. It was beautiful! We then took a free bus ALL the way back to the parking lot RIGHT next to the stadium. Awesome!!!! : D As we were walking to the baseball game I got cheap Kettle corn popcorn for "the show". The game was exciting as we ate our lunch from the stadium on blazing hot seats in the baking sun. We left about halfway through the game. From there we headed to the American Girl store where I got Josefina's hair done and bought her "THALAMAC" glasses (doll sized). We stopped at Dinosaur Ridge to get geocaches, take pictures, and go back in time to the dinosaurs. We got great photos and headed back to the hotel. There we saw more fossils and dinos, and swam in the pool and hot tub. Had leftovers for dinner. I'm sooooooooooo tired!! :O Write more tomorrow! Goodnight Colorado skies. We're climing/ riding the cog to Pikes Peak tomorrow, we are going to need the sleep!
